2015 ITU World Triathlon Stockholm - Elite Men’s Highlights
Javier Gomez Noya (ESP) is no stranger to the top of the podium, but the one race he had yet to win was the ITU World Triathlon Stockholm. That all changed on July 23rd, 2015 as the Spaniard finally captured the gold medal and was able to proudly add WTS Stockholm to the long list of victories.

Sarah True defended her title as the American dominated the run leg to bring home a back-to-back title in the 2015 ITU World Triathlon Stockholm event. Reclaiming the crown after winning her first WTS title in Stockholm last year, True picked up her first WTS victory of the season with a time of 2:01:05.

2015 Tiszaujvaros ITU World Cup - Elite Women’s Highlights
Australian Felicity Sheedy-Ryan timed her race to perfection to win the elite women´s triathlon final at the Tiszaujvaros ITU World Cup. Audrey Merle (FRA) took the silver medal and Sara Dossena (ITA) the bronze, both making the podium in a World Cup race for the first time.

Igor Polyanskiy (RUS) claimed the top podium position in a thrilling race, winning the elite men´s triathlon final in Tiszaujvaros, clenching his first ever World Cup title. In front of his home crowd, Gabor Faldum (HUN) took second place and Andreas Schilling (DEN) grabbed the last spot on the podium.

Javier Gomez Noya (ESP) added to his collection of titles and accolades when he crossed the finish line first at the 2015 Rio de Janeiro Test Event, ensuring he would line up again in 2016 as he fulfilled both his National Federation’s requirements for Olympic qualification and earned Spain a spot on the start list.

2015 Rio de Janeiro ITU World Olympic Qualification Event - Elite Women
Gwen Jorgensen (USA) has won herself yet another gold medal, but this time the gold means a little bit more—she has automatically qualified herself for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games next summer. Breaking away on the third lap of the run, she was able to claim her spot at the 2015 Rio de Janeiro ITU World Olympic Qualification Event on Sunday in front of crowds of local Brazilian people on the beautiful beach side of iconic Copacabana Beach.

In the seventh edition of the ITU Triathlon Mixed Relay World Championships, France scored its first World Championship title in a down to the line fight. After Great Britain edged out the team in 2014, this year it was France’s turn to put themselves on the top of the competition.

No stranger to the podium, but a stranger to the top, France’s Vincent Luis produced a remarkable run at World Triathlon Hamburg to claim his first ever World Triathlon Series title over four-time World Champion Javier Gomez Noya (ESP). Engaged in a tight battle with Gomez the entire race, Luis launched past the No.1 world ranked Spaniard in the last 300 metres, becoming the first French athlete to ever win a WTS title.

Proving that she is also capable at dominating in a sprint, USA’s Gwen Jorgensen claimed victory at the 2015 ITU World Triathlon Hamburg. With Great Britain’s Vicky Holland giving Jorgensen some pressured competition up until the last 500 metres, the 11-time WTS consecutive winner showcased her speed and pure talent by breaking away on the blue carpet to ultimately take home yet another gold.

2015 Vitality ITU World Triathlon London - Elite Men’s Highlights
Making his home country proud, Alistair Brownlee (GBR) captured a breakaway win at the 2015 ITU World Triathlon London. With the familiar crowd cheering him on in Hyde Park as he crossed the finish line at 50:39, the Brit was able to tally his second WTS victory of the season.
