The selected athletes for the Vancouver Team BG are: Lisa Norden of Sweden, Kimbeley Yap of Malaysia, Leonardo Chacon of Costa Rica, Barbara Riveros of Chile, Zvonko Cubric of Croatia, Mari Rabie of South Africa, Andrea Paola Bonilla of Ecuador, Yuliya Yelistratova of Ukraine and Omar Tayara of Syria.
Following the race in Vancouver, there will be two further BG Triathlon World Cup events that make up the new Team BG - EADP initiative: Tiszaujvaros, Hungary on 12 August; Belo Horizonte, Brazil on 20 October.
