Asia Triathlon

Norway this year will play host to both the European and World Championships Winter Triathlon events. Lygna will play host to the European Championships from February 5-7 and the World Championships will take place at Sessvollmoen (Eidsvoll) one week later from February 12-14. Both events have websites with details which will be updated regularly.

The Local Organising Committees will shortly announce details for transportation to and from the airport as well as between hotel and venue.

Please note that the event at Lygna also has become a part of the world cup so athletes from other continents are welcome.

If you are coming to Norway for both events we recommend you to travel by plane to Oslo International Airport Gardermoen. From there it’s less than one hour by car to Lygna Ski resort and book in at Lygna Hotel which is 1 km only from the arena.

On Sunday after the prize awards you go to Ricca Hotel Gardermoen. This is the location for opening ceremony ,race meetings etc . Sessvollmoen is situated about 10 km north of Gardermoen and shuttle buses will be available if necessary. This hotel is located close to the airport to ensure a smooth exit on Sunday if required.
